The 20er Haus is one of the most important Austrian architectural monuments of the fifties. In future an art "track" will run from the Lower Belvedere on Rennweg to the 20er Haus. It will emerge as an innovative platform for contemporary art and new location for the latest art trends, the collection of post-1945 art, and the Wotruba Archive. Thus, after its reconstruction by the renowned architect Adolf Krischanitz, the former World Fair pavilion designed by Karl Schwanzer takes on a key role in the Belvedere ensemble.
