Engaging in an ongoing evaluation of institutional practices and examining museums' evolving role in the twenty-first century are essential to ensuring progressive museum work. The Belvedere Research Center has been hosting interdisciplinary conferences since 2019 to discuss the opportunities and challenges that come with the digital transformation of art museums.
