# Projects

The Belvedere's in-house research work is complemented by external research projects that are funded by third parties. Research results obtained from such projects find their way into various exhibition and publication projects and are therefore also accessible to the interested public.

[**Belvedere Summer School 2025**](https://www.belvedere.at/en/summer-school-2025) — In September 2025, the Belvedere Research Center in Vienna is hosting a summer school on the topic of "Collecting Institutions in a Digital World: Strategies - Methods - Tools".

[**Expansion of Collection Online in 3D and extension of the digital archive**](https://www.belvedere.at/en/expansion-collection-online) — This digitization project aims at the creation of 3D models of artworks as well as to make a group of archival documents from the Fritz Wotruba estate publicly available.

[**Belvedere Summer School 2024**](https://www.belvedere.at/en/summer-school-2024) — In September 2024, the Belvedere Research Center in Vienna is hosting a summer school on the topic of "Collecting Institutions in a Digital World: Strategies - Methods - Tools" for the second time.

[**Art Experience in the (Post-) Digital Age. {original | digital | virtual}**](https://www.belvedere.at/en/art-experience-post-digital-age-original-digital-virtual) — The inter- and transdisciplinary project addresses the question of how the perception of original art differs from digital and virtual reproductions.

[**Belvedere/UWK Summer Institute 2023 – supported by Getty**](https://www.belvedere.at/en/summer-institute-2023) — In September 2023, the Belvedere Research Center in Vienna, and the Center for Image Science at the University for Continuing Education in Krems will jointly host an international summer institute.
