The museum aims to be easily accessible to everyone. Visitors with disabilities are supported in experiencing our programs through sensory-friendly resources. All restroom facilities are gender-neutral to prevent discrimination.

Entrance

Level access through the main entrance. Two heavy doors (102 cm wide).

 

 

Parking

The parking lot for people with disabilities is located right next to the entrance gate of the Upper Belvedere, Prinz Eugen-Straße 27.

 

 

Shop & Café

Disabled access via the rooms of our temporary exhibition “In-Sight”. Please ask our staff for directions.

 

 

Assistance dogs

Guide dogs and assistance dogs are welcome at the Belvedere museums.

 

 

Elevator

There are two elevators that can be accessed via a few steps; a wheelchair ramp is available.

Our staff are always happy to help. Every part of the collection can be accessed.

 

 

Toilets

There are gender-specific, disabled toilets on the ground floor.

 

 

Wheelchairs

A wheelchair is available from the cloakroom for visitors with mobility access requirements. 

 

 

Belvedere Gardens

The passage through the park between the Upper and Lower Belvedere is not barrier-free.

 

 

Seating

There is some seating in the exhibition rooms. Museum stools can be borrowed at the cloak room.

Barrier-free access next to the main entrance at Rennweg 6, 1030 Vienna. Please do not hesitate to ring, as our staff will be glad to assist you. Disabled access via the corridor leading from the Lower Belvedere to the Orangery.

One parking space for disabled badge-holders inside Rennweg 6, 1030 Vienna.
