In English: Klimt. Inspired by Van Gogh, Rodin, Matisse...
Painting knows colors, lines, and surfaces, but no boundaries. Works by Henri Matisse, Vincent van Gogh, Margaret Macdonald Mackintosh, and many other international artists were shown in Vienna for the first time around 1900. This guided exhibition tour highlights Gustav Klimt's contributions to opening up Vienna's art scene to Modernism and the impact of his famous contemporaries on his own work.
Both a valid admission ticket and an event ticket are required to participate.
We ask you to comply with our Visitor Regulations for the entire duration of the event.
