Die Textilkünstlerin, Designerin und Kunsttheoretikerin Anni Albers entwickelt bereits am Bauhaus einen experimentellen Zugang zum Material. Sie versteht das Weben als konstruktiven Akt: ein „Bauen“ mit Fäden, bei dem Form, Funktion und Ästhetik zusammenwirken. Erfahren Sie im dialogischen Rundgang durch die Ausstellung mit Assistenzkuratorin **Kati Renner** (Belvedere) und Kuratorin **Brenda Danilowitz** (Josef and Anni Albers Foundation) mehr über Albers’ Beiträge zu Architekturprojekten sowie über ihre Arbeiten, die die Grenzen der Weberei ausloten.

Textile artist, designer, and art theorist Anni Albers developed an experimental approach to her material while she was still at the Bauhaus. She viewed weaving as a constructive act: a form of “building” with threads in which form, function, and aesthetics combine. Join us on an interactive tour of the exhibition with Assistant Curator **Kati Renner** (Belvedere) and Curator **Brenda Danilowitz** (Josef and Anni Albers Foundation) and discover more about Albers’s contributions to architectural projects and her works that probe the boundaries of weaving.
