In They She We Them Barbara Kapusta presents seven photos. These show thirteen people from the artist’s life and their gazes and gestures, postures and expressions. How they are grouped and configured. How they interact, touch, or not. When they are part of the group or stand apart. How they depend on each other and express themselves – in friendship, collaboration or love. So it is about the broad topic of relationships in which the subjective drowns out the objective completely, everything is associative and is dissolved in the grey area between the communal and the collective, even when one person steps out of the circle and does a solo.
