Stella Rollig
General Director
Stella Rollig has been general and artistic director of the Belvedere since January 2017. She studied German and art history at the University of Vienna and later worked as an arts journalist (for ORF, Der Standard, and others). From 1994 to 1996 Rollig was the Austrian Federal Curator for the Fine Arts; during this time she also founded the discussion platform “Depot, Kunst und Diskussion” at MuseumsQuartier Wien. From 2004 to 2016 she was artistic director of the Lentos Kunstmuseum in Linz, and from 2011 also the director of the Nordico Stadtmuseum Linz. In addition to her curatorial roles, Rollig has taught at numerous institutions.n.

Wolfgang Bergmann
Chief Financial Officer
Wolfgang Bergmann has been CFO of the Belvedere since 2017. He has a master’s degree in theology and has published three books. Bergmann began his career as head of public relations at Caritas (1988–96), following that with head of communications at the Archdiocese of Vienna (1996–99), where he founded Radio Stephansdom. In 2000 he became general manager of the daily newspaper Der Standard. In 2008 he was also appointed to the board of Standard Media AG.
