Are tickets purchased online cheaper?

Yes, the tickets are up to 15% cheaper online.

What is a time-slot?

A time slot is the set time for your admission to the museum. You choose your time slot from a list of times available when you buy your ticket online or on-site at the ticket offices. The duration of your stay, however, is unlimited.

Are there fixed admission times for all three locations?

Yes, to visit the Lower and Upper Belvedere, select your time slot when purchasing your ticket. For the Belvedere 21, you choose the day of your visit, but no fixed admission time.

When buying combination tickets, do I also choose a time slot?

Yes, with combination tickets you choose your time slot for the most visited Upper Belvedere, the other locations are visited on the same day before or after the booked time slot. Please note our opening hours.

Do I need to reserve a time-slot if I hold an annual ticket, Friends of the Belvedere Card, Bundesmuseum Card, Vienna Pass, Flexi Pass or ICOM Membership Card?

No – please proceed directly to the entrance and show your membership card and an ID; at peak times, however, you may experience a short delay.

How can I get my ticket with the NÖ-Card, Ö1-Clubcard, the Kulturpass, and other perks? Can I reserve a time-slot in advance?

Please come directly to the ticket office and show your pass – you will receive your free or discounted admission ticket, including a time-slot, on the spot. Pre-booking a time-slot is in this case not possible.  At peak times, you may experience a short delay.

Can I expect long waits for an on-site time-slot?

At peak times, there may be delays. We therefore recommend that you buy your tickets in advance online: To your benefit, you will always have an up-to-date overview of all the available time-slots – and you avoid queuing at the ticket office and can go directly to the entrance.

Might I have to wait at the entrance even though I have a valid time-slot ticket?

Yes, in some cases this may occur. However, with your time-slot ticket you will be given priority ahead of visitors who have not yet purchased a ticket.

Can I reserve tickets by phone?

No, unfortunately, this is not possible for privacy reasons.

I would like to visit the Belvedere with a group. Do I have to reserve a time in advance?
