For over 300 years, the Belvedere has been home to some of Austria’s most valuable and historic works of art. But a mystery still lies hidden within the palace, waiting to be uncovered … The Fantastic Palastics began their journey in the palace garden – now it’s time to explore the treasures inside the Upper Belvedere. The mission? To playfully discover who the artists of the future might be!

The Game
Who could be a more fitting companion on your journey of discovery through the museum than the Sphinx – the guardian who has watched over the palace for three centuries? She will help guide you in your search for the artists of the future! Together with this magical companion and equipped with an interactive game map, young visitors set off on an adventure through the exhibition galleries. Along the way, creative challenges invite them to draw, observe, imagine, and engage with art. The goal? To collect secret numbers to complete the mission – because only by combining all parts of the code can the mystery be solved.

You will need the game map, a pen, and your smartphone or tablet.
The game map and a pen are available free of charge at the information desk in the Sala Terrena at the Upper Belvedere.
Admission to the museum is free for everyone under 19 years – reserve your time slot.
